In a boost to sustainability efforts, NTU scientists have found a way for pollen-based paper to be printed on, erased and reprinted up to at least eight times. The “unprinting” will need a dip in an alkaline toner. The paper can then be reused, and works well even with high-resolution colour images. The team was led by Professors Subra Suresh and Cho Nam-Joon, who shared more about the costs and limitations of the innovation.
